UJI AKTIVITAS ANTIINFLAMASI EKSTRAK ETANOL DAUN KAYU MANIS (Cinnamomum burmanni) PADA MENCIT PUTIH JANTAN

Cinnamon (Cinnamomum burmannii) leaves extract contains secondary metabolites such as flavonoids, saponins, tannins, alakloids, steroids/terpenoids and phenols. The aims of this study was to examine the anti-inflammatory activity ethanolic cinnamon topically determine best concentration for treatment inflammation. This research is an experimental with a post test only control group design approach. devided into 5 groups where each consisted 7 animals treatments included positive (hydrocortisone acetate 2.5%), negative (vaselin flavum), ethanol concentrations 5%, 10% 20%. results showed that had effect statistically significant difference between (p<0.05). 20% then followed by 5%.
